Islamic Center Represents Stillwater at Turkish Eid Festival
Celebrating cultural exchange and community spirit during Eid al-Fitr
The Islamic Center in Stillwater, OK, was represented at the Turkish Community's Festival celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
Dr. Ahmed Abo Basha represented all Stillwater community members in the festival, offering Baklava and other sweets.
The festival was wonderful, filled with joy and happiness, and the Turkish community expressed their delight and hope to see more from Stillwater in the future.
This participation demonstrates the Islamic Center's commitment to building bridges between cultures and fostering understanding in our diverse community. By sharing traditional sweets like Baklava, we celebrate our common values of generosity, hospitality, and joy during this blessed Eid season.

Alhamdulillah for this beautiful cultural exchange and opportunity to share our faith
Alhamdulillah, the Islamic Center in Stillwater has received visitors from a group of important visitors.
We were honored with a visit from the Payne County Home & Community Education Cultural Enrichment Group. The ICS received about 15 visitors who joined us in the prayer hall to watch the Dhuhur (noon) prayers. Then they were taken on a tour around the ICS buildings and facilities. We then had the pleasure of staying in the sisters' wing, where questions were asked, and answers were given to the best of our knowledge.
This visit has been in preparation for more than five months. Our visitors were received by:
- Dr. Ahmed Abo Basha
- Br. Mishary Al-Fouzan
- Sis. Fatima
- Sis. Reem Mansy
- Dr. Hatim Hegab
Pizza and Baklava were served along with Eid cookies. Our visitors expressed their happiness about their visit, the warm reception, and the hospitality.
The Islamic Center is open for all visitors (by arrangement) and welcomes any questions. This visit demonstrates our commitment to cultural exchange, education, and building bridges of understanding in our community.

Eid al-Fitr
Announcement 1447 AH / 2026 CE
عيد الفطر المبارك
In sha' Allah, Eid al-Fitr for the year 1447 AH (2026 CE) will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026.
The Eid prayer will begin at 9:00 AM sharp, in sha' Allah.
Please arrive early to ensure you have time to park and find seating.
After the prayer, we will have our usual community potluck, in sha' Allah.
Everyone is welcome to bring a dish to share with the community.
Jumu'ah prayer will take place from 1:35 PM to 2:15 PM.
